So... is Tzar alive?

Hey all! I'm sure some of you remember me (I'm quite a rememberable guy) and some of you who don't (too bad... so sad). I just want to ask if Tzar is alive, still - because I started playing / making maps again. What's the latest unofficial patch you're all playing? Can I join sometime? Is anyone mapping?

Looks like everybody has decided to ignore my message. It's OK, no biggie. Typical for the Polish people. They're all so self-centered and self-involved. At least the Spanish Tzar players have a sense of humour and actually communicate with foreigners.

Enlighten me, is your second post also that humour you speak of? Because if it is not irony, then it's quite offensive, to say the least.

First you assumed everyone deliberately ignored your previous post. Well, if it avoided your attention, let me inform you that for some people it has still been summer break and they might've been away from the computer. While for others first weeks of school might've dragged their attention away from the forum. Then there are people who probably just didn't feel skilled enough in English to reply (especially after your "I also hope you have learned at least a little bit English" part).

Secondly, please do not generalize by saying that all Poles are self-centered or self-involved. Do you know ALL Poles to make a statement like that? Besides, considering the tone of your posts, it'd rather seem that you are the self-centered person, expecting everyone to run to the forum and reply to your oh-so-wonderful post.

PS. As far as I know, the patch Poles are using is 1.13a - someone correct me if I'm wrong. As for finding people to play with you may want to try directly on Hamachi on one of the networks mentioned here: http://www.tzar.fora.pl/dla-poczatkujacych,81/lista-sieci-hamachi-tzar-networks,2357.html

I do respect Nigi because of his help and his time dedication for TZAR making more popular,... but this time I must say I did not like, what Nigi suggested for Teo. I am talking about these Hamatchi servers. People, who are in these serves, use 1.13 patch.
Teo, be sure, you will not find there people, who use 1.10. You have nothing to do with polish people. I would even say, that polish people are not TZAR players anymore (with little exceptions).

If eveyone was away because of school, don't you think that they won't write in the forum at all? Because I logged in a lot recently I see people post at the forums all the time, and even in the chatbox, but not even look at my post.

Yes! I am extremely sorry for the Poles's lack of education. I'm certain that I'm the youngest over here, and yet I know more English than any of you. That's just another part of the Poles's self-centration - they don't care about other people, so why learn English? Why educate oneself?

I was talking to all the Polish Tzar players. And, Nigi, please, you're not making a good example of your country. And, considering your lack of any posting, you guys are ignorant people.

This was the only thing I was looking for in my topic. Was that so hard? Why did it have to take two weeks for somebody to even look at my post, and even after I reminded everyone?

Where did I say everyone was away because of school? I said some might've been away because of school. Others might've been on summer break still. And some also might not be paying attention to English forum, due to lack of English knowledge. Might be good if you'd have tried understanding what you are reading.

Well, I guess then I can blame your young age for generalizations like this. First again how do you know the level of education of all Poles, to make a statement like that? Secondly, you certainly do know English and I am glad to talk with a foreigner whom I can understand with ease, however I see no reason to assume you know English better than me; besides I doubt you've spoken with every single user of this forum, so again the statement "I know more English than any of you" appears to be yet another sign of your own self-centration. Thirdly, actually Poles are quite well educated in English (or some other foreign language); I've seen much more hermetic nations. And finally if you are so sure about your high English skills, then you should be aware than knowing less English than you, may still mean quite good level, therefore your final statements are misguided as well.

I'm here not to make an example of my country. This is the Internet and my words are my own, can't you raise above the separations of countries? And whenever it is a good or bad example, it is only your subjective opinion.

As for my lack of posting - that says a person who has 20 posts here? And while I may not be posting as frequently as some other people, my posts usually has some content. And I think you'd agree that quality is more important than quantity, no?

I can't speak for all the other people, but if you ask why I didn't reply sooner, then I can only say that I've been on vacation in France and I had no internet access. So as you can see, people actually live their own lives and have their own reasons, not really as spiteful as you were suggesting above.

And why did I bother with this little flamewar? Well, you've called me, along with other Poles, self-centered and self-involved and as you've probably noticed, I highly dislike generalizations like that. So let me give you an advice - in the future, before you start spilling out vengeful words at other people you don't even know, perhaps it would be good to think how things may be looking from their point of view; perhaps rather than assuming everyone is on a crusade to ignore you, it might be good to consider a possibility that people are dealing with their own lives?

You were giving an example. School, work. What's the difference? That point has already been cleared up.

We're not in a competition over here. I wasn't talking about you. Your English is excellent, and I cannot say the same about my Polish. I was talking to the people in the Polish Hamachi server, who still write in Polish after I continously say "English, please".

With saying "people with their own lives", you mean people who continously occupy all Hamachi server and play Tzar, constantly write in Polish forums, but are too busy to just tell a guy what patch they're using.
